As a recent graduate of American University's performing arts program, Siena is a multi-faceted artist with a unique global perspective. She earned a BA in Theatre Arts, minoring in history and cinema studies, and essentially crafting her own degree concentration in directing and Shakespeare. She was the artistic director of the premier classical theatre troupe on campus for 2 consecutive years, and participated in directing 10 productions with them and AU's department. For her work with the department she was awarded the Harold and Sylvia Greenberg Endowed Scholarship her sophomore year.
Starting during her undergrad studies, Siena has been working at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington DC since 2022 as a Visitor Experience Expert. She has been able to house manage a dozen different theatre, music, lecture, and book club events so far. Additionally, she has worked as a house manager at Round House Theatre in Bethesda MD since March 2023. She also worked as a Visitor Assistant at the US Capitol Visitor Center.
Most recently, Siena was able to return to AU as an alumna artist to assistant direct and dramaturg their production of Shakespeare's Henry IV Part 1, directed and adapted by Kate Eastwood Norris. This new interpretation, stylized as "The Herstory of Henry IV Part 1" opened in February 2024.
